Description
This book was first published in 1980. It represents Brinsmead’s thinking at that stage of his intellectual and spiritual journey.
Although it is a serious critique of Adventism – its foundational doctrine of the Sanctuary and the Investigative Judgement, the literary borrowings of Ellen G. White, righteousness by faith and other matters – Brinsmead writes in a friendly, irenic spirit as he critiques the theology of Adventism. The books is therefore a fine example of how to disagree with well-meaning Christian people without being disagreeable.
The 383-page book is offered for sale here as a collector’s item. There are only five copies left as of January 2013.
